Eleftherna - Rethymno Prefecture (Greece)

Eleftherna. Eleftherna is a village on the greek island of Crete, located at 37 kilometres southeast of Rethymno city. Eleftherna is built on top of a hill and is special because of its traditional architecture. This village is built on the site where once was located the city of Apollonia, a city that was built between 800 and 900 BC.
