Damouchari Pelion - Magnesia (Greece)

Damouchari. Damouchari is the only natural harbour on the rugged Aegean side of Pelion in Greece. According to an ancient Venetian myth, the Greek term: "dos mou chari " ("have mercy on me"), has given the area the name Damouchari.

In the church of Agios Nikolaos there are beautiful icons from 1800 written by Pagoni. Old Damouchari is via a traditional paved walkway connected to Tsangarada. Famous are the big round, white pebbles on the seashore. The famous twin inlet of Damouchari is a natural masterpiece.
