Chorefto Pelion - Magnesia (Greece)

Chorefto. The dense vegetation of Pelion, on the mainland of Greece, reaches to the sandy beaches of Chorefto where once stood the famous port from which the "Zagorian ships" headed to the big markets of Europe and the East.

G. Drosinis found inspiration for his poems "Serenity' in this place, where for most of the year the waves of the sea "dance". A very green path leads from the northern part of the village to the beautiful deserted beaches Parisaina and Analipsi. The houses in Chorefto are traditionally built.
