CHANIA PELION. Chania in Pelion, is a popular resort in Greece. It is a mountain village at 1200 m. altitude in a dense forest that forms the passage from West to East Pelion. Previously stayed overnight travellers and tradespeople in the harbour of Chania (Hania). Today, in the neighbourhoods of the village, in the region Agriolefkes, is one of the finest ski resorts in Greece. For ski lovers there is a beautiful descent possible along slopes through frost-covered trees that look like petrified, while popping up on the left the Pagasitikos Gulf and on the right the Aegean Sea. Hania we visited in summer and we were surprised by what we saw; it looks more like Switzerland or Austria. Along the way there are numerous restaurants and taverns and it's nice here. All things are neatly groomed and everywhere are colourful pots.
