Kontokali - Corfu (Greece)
Kontokali. Kontokali is a kind of a small tourist town on the busy road from Corfu Town to Dassia, eight kilometres from Corfu Town. It is located near the marina of Gouvia.
In Kontokali there are many hotels and apartments. There are many restaurants, cafes and all kinds of shops. The nature is beautiful because the area is surrounded by green trees. The town is a good base for exploring Corfu. It's actually more of a street with restaurants and cafes, a 'real' traditional village is missing. There are cars, scooters and bicycles for rent. The Gouvia Marina and the beach of Gouvia is worth a visit.
Opposite the Marina of Gouvia is the islet Lazareto, also called Gouvino, which is beautifully overgrown.
