Ermones. Ermones is a resort on the west coast of Corfu, twenty kilometres from Corfu Town. It lies in the Ropa Valley in a beautiful bay with many pine forests and olive trees.
Ermones is also called the Beach of Odysseus because according to Greek mythology, Odysseus met Nausikaä on this beach.
Ermones is a tourist village like many others in Corfu. There are many hotels, some of which are built on the slopes of the mountain with beautiful views over the sea.
Beach Ermones consists of gravel and sand, it is a Blue Flag Beach. In Ermones, there are a number of taverns, restaurants and there is also a diving school. Near the beach are ancient ruins found dating from the Bronze Age.
