Ixia. Ixia, a tourist resort on the Greek island of Rhodes, is actually a suburb of Rhodes town. Ixia lies in the southwest of Rhodes town. The beach consists mainly of gravel, pebbles and sand. A taxi from Ixia to Rhodes Town costs about 10 euros and every 15 minutes a bus stops on its direct route to the town. Ixia is located about 20 minutes from Rhodes town.
