This mountain is located north of Athens, the highest point is karambola, at 1413 meters. Parnitha is completely overgrown with pine trees and all kinds of pine trees, therefore also called the "lungs of Athens. Parnitha has multiple peaks, and one of these summits is the casino Mont Parnes' which is also accessible by cable car.
