Melidoni - Kythira (Greece)
Melidoni. Melidoni is a nice secluded beach in the west of the town of Kythira (Chora). The last part of the road is unpaved and therefore it is advisable to hire a jeep to make this trip. Of course you can park your car a little higher up and walk two kilometres to the beach. The beach is located in a small bay overlooking the island Chitra. On the beach there is room to park. In summer there is a kantina to order a drink or a snack. On the beach are some umbrellas and sunbeds for hire.
