Paliochori. Paliochori is a beautiful beach on the Greek island of Milos. Paliochori means old town. Paliochori is located in the southeast of Milos, ten kilometers (6 mi) from Adamas. One can reach it by car from Adamas in fifteen minutes. It is a long beach and the most impressive part is the western part, where behind the beach are high, colorful rocks. Between these rocks is a cafeteria and from there you can walk down the stairs to the beach. On the beach itself there is a beach bar, and sun beds and umbrellas can be hired.
At the other end of the beach, on the east side, are several restaurants and cafeterias. This beach is well organized and has some water sports.
Most impressive about this beach are the red, yellow, brown and white volcanic rocks located behind the beach. Volcanic activity thousands of years ago clearly left its mark.
Besides by car, you can also come here via tourist boats. Every day several boats sail around the island and visit the beaches of Paliochori.
