Palio Klima - Skopelos (Greece)
PALIO KLIMA. Palio Klima (Old Klima) is the ancient village of Klima a few kilometres to the north. It is located a few kilometres from Glossa with views to the port of Glossa, Loutraki and Skiathos. By car, you cannot enter the village. You have to park above at the provincial road and then walk through narrow paths, going through all kinds of gardens, to the village.
The village consists only of old traditional houses and narrow alleyways. The houses have colourful wooden balconies and ceramic roofing. Some houses are very unattended, others are well cared for. The village is surrounded by pine trees and other trees. In Palio Klima live about thirty permanent residents that are mostly elderly, who have never left their ancestral homes.
