Kyparissia. The city of Kyparissia is located in Messinia, Peloponnese, Greece. With long, cool summers, a delightful spring, a warm autumn and a mild winter, a lot of resources, abundant water, fertile soil, green mountains, is the environment of Kiparissa very pleasant.
The city of Kiparissia is like a puzzle piece in the base of the fort, the lower regions reach to the sandy beaches of the Ionian sea. Around the castle is a field planted with olive trees and vines. It is said that the sunset view from the castle is one of the most impressive in the world. Whichever direction you look in this environment, you can see ancient, Byzantine and Frankish monuments.
Filiatra. Filiatra is the second largest city in the region of Messinia and is located in the Trifilia valley. The land here is very fertile and the inhabitants are mostly farmers. Different varieties of grapes are grown here but olive oil is also an important source of income. There are two notable landmarks. First, a scaled down version of the Eiffel tower and the second is a fairy-tale castle.
