Vytina. Vytina is a traditional village in the prefecture of Arcadia in the Peloponnese. It lies on the route Tripolis-Olympia, 45 kilometers from Tripolis. The village is located about 1000 meters above sea level, in the winter months a lot of snow can fall here. Vytina is surrounded by forests, mainly pine forests. In the area are also many chestnut trees. In Vytina the houses have their own traditional style, they usually consist of three floors, they are built with stone and have red roof tiles. The main attraction is the church of Agios Trifon built in the first half of the 19th century. In Vytina there is an interesting ethnological museum. Not far from Vytina is the ski resort of Ostrakina at 1600 meters altitude.
