Vassilias - Skiathos (Greece)
Vassilias. Vassilias is situated on the Greek island of Skiathos. It is a sandy beach located down the slopes of a mountain, about seven kilometres west of Skiathos town. The beach is accessible on foot from Vassilias Kassandra Bay Resort or through some paths near the hotel. The green slopes of the surrounding mountains are beautiful. On the beach are a number of tavernas and beach umbrellas as well as sunbeds are for hire. Water sports are also available. Additionally, you can rent a boat to explore the coastline of Skiathos.
Vassilias is located near Skiathos Town,every hour buses drive to the capital. A taxi to town costs about € 7. Because Vassilias is so close to the bustling town of Skiathos, most tourists who are staying in Vassilias usually go to Skiathos town in the evening.
In Vassilias and in the alongside hamlet Katsaros live in total about hundred twenty permanent residents.
